In 1984, the original Hoosier Dome opened at 210 South Capital Avenue with a capacity of over 60,000. It was renamed to the RCA Dome in 1994 and closed in early 2008. A second Hoosier Dome (this venue) opened in 2010 with a much smaller capacity of several hundred.
