Bonnie Tyler (born Gaynor Sullivan, June 8, 1951 - July 8, 2026) is a Welsh singer-songwriter who first gained prominence with the release of her 1977 album "The World Starts Tonight" and its singles "Lost in France" and "More Than a Lover" while her most well-known single "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was released in 1983. On July 8, 2026, Bonnie Tyler passed away following several months of medical issues for which she had been receiving treatment. During her life, she released a dozen and a half studio albums and over seven dozen singles.
