1. Scalps is a solo project of Chris Hearn, of Alps. Scalps was begun at the same time as Alps, with the intention of being an antithesis project, a kind of evil twin. Scalps embodied the elements which Alps did not: harshness, darkness, the digital, the improvised, treble, static.
