Melbourne-based Valenstein is a retro/rock/pop getup composed of frontman Warwick Wilson (guitar, vocals, drums) and Dale McMahon (synth, vocals, bass). The band formed in late 2010 and garnered local support through a series of gigs in Melbourne city proper before retreating to the shadows to develop their first album. With an infectious alloy of dreamlike beachy guitars, flavourful energetic 80's beats and smooth vocals, Valenstein's mix of sounds is a smooth, easy ride for the ear.
