The Proper Ornaments are a neo psychedelic pop group from London. comprising of Max Claps and James Hoare. The two met in a women's clothing shop in Notting Hill Gate and have been recording solidly since. In 2010 they released a 7" on the San Francisco label Make a Mess. their bittersweet guitar-pop has been compared to Felt, The Byrds, Comet Gain etc.
