The Hellset Orchestra came together some time ago through coincidental research into rare Victorian bird-hunting periodicals. They decided to make music which reflected the various mating calls of the larger birds of the sub-continent. They have since expanded their repertoire, focusing more and more on producing music in the style of the silent theatrical discotheque, a long-forgotten tradition within British music.
