Tired of depending on other people to play music, Sergi concieved The Destroyed Room as a solo project to enjoy recording his own songs at home, in Barcelona. After two years writing about girls, alcohol and the fear of wasting his life away, he decided to team up with a couple of friends to form a real band in the last months of 2008. Víctor (Reaction-Reaction!, Golpe Mortal) and Borja (who played with Sergi in Molokai for two years) joined him in this adventure.
