The Daturas began as a slightly psychedelic folk band in Wiltshire and have been developing a live set ever since, merging their love of 60s/70s music with contemporary influences including Grizzly Bear and Fleet Foxes. Jozeph also attributes a lot of The Daturas' sound and lyrics to his time as a 'water gypsy', living on a refurbished 1950's lifeboat.
