Tea for Julie came together in Portland, Oregon during the summer of 2001. The indie-pop band is composed of guitarist Travis Stanek, lead singer Michael Deresh, bassist Denver Warner and drummer Jad Simpson. Their second album, The Sense in Tying Knots, was released on July 1, 2008.
