In January 2009, Swamp Captain is born. With help from Micha "Vermin Twins" Volders, Timmy and Arnaud Wolters recorded Clouds in Space and Humanoid. Soon after the release, people got interested in our sound. In May 2009, Bert Raymakers joined the band as second guitarist. After the depart of drummer Tom in May 2011, Wouter Souvereyns from Polaroid Fiction and the late Babybliss took care of the drums on the demo. The demo was recorded at Trix Antwerp in July 2011 with Hans De Prins.
