Supercuts has their genesis in a number of different bands based in Glasgow. Each member has played together for a number of years in various other bands, such as The Partick Monkeys, The Feudal System and New Girls. Beginning life in early 2018 as an experiment to play instruments the band members had little or no experience in playing, the result is a volatile, experimental and melodic exploration in Alternative Rock aesthetics, Indie Pop melodies, Post Punk sensibilities and Acid Jazz undertones.
