Formed in July of 2006, Statelman originally consisted of Sean Horan (Vocals/Guitar) and Megan DiGuilio (Vocals/Guitar). Dan O’Connor (Drums) joined the band in October 2006, and after numerous lineup changes Tim James (Bass) stepped up to become the band’s permanent bassist. The band’s progressive sound mixed with their pop sensibilities and raw live energy began to attract a larger crowd at every show. Their first EP, “The Ghost in the Static,” was a success with the band’s fan base, and gained air-play on local radio stations.
