Spilly Walker springs from a desire by two brothers to hang out and create music inspired by musical treats exchanged between them ever since Robbie Kitt's school days. Back then, big brother David Kitt could present glimpses into new worlds through carefully curated mix tapes filled with Hip Hop and dance music gems. Years later Robbie would return the favour, reintroducing David to electronic classics like Orbital's 'halcyon (and on and on)' that soundtracked his own teens and new music on labels like kompakt and stonesthrow.
