Hailing from the state of New Jersey, Solo for Dolo is best described as "A reminder of early-1990s hip hop, when lyricists grabbed microphones to set them ablaze" (Okayplayer.com). He spent his early teens cutting his teeth on the local battle circuits & playing understudy to QN5 Music Group. After which he dedicated his late teens skipping school to record & tour for a group effort that moved him to Brooklyn NY. In 2007 he went back to his Solo effort after the success & feedback of a Limited Edition EP called "Black September".
