Née d’un père comédien et d’une mère artiste touche à tout, c’est au sein des planches que l’identité particulière de Solann se dessine. Elle se rapproche ensuite de sa grand-mère maternelle, son héroïne, sa confidente, qui l’amène à développer sa pratique musicale. D’origine arménienne, elle met sur un piédestal Barbara ou Aznavour, en plus de l'influence de Patrick Watson, Agnes Obel, Billie Eilish et Tamino.
