ROSHANI was born in Sri Lanka to a musical family living in unimaginable poverty. At 6 weeks of age she was adopted by an Australian family and grew up immersed in music in Tamworth. She has since gone on to perform around the world, and in 2015 returned to her birthplace for an emotional reunion with her Sri Lankan family after 28 years apart.
