Dutch trumpeter Rob van de Wouw just released (okt 2009) his second solo album “Tunnelvision” on Embrace Recordings. For this album he colaborated with the renowned producer/beatmaker: Mark de Clive-Lowe (london,UK). The result is a hybrid mixture of a live band with programmed beats, vintage synths and effects and space-jazz. ‘Jazz meets twisted-future-funk-beats-mashi-fashion’ is what Mark (Mashi) called it. There are guestappearances by Dutch Soulrebel Ivar, Sharlene Hector (UK, Basement Jaxx) and US Rapper Replife.
