Born out of many nights of talking about music, after the acquisition of an old Wurlitzer electric piano in the winter of 2008 Prairie Cadets decided to quit talking and do something. Comprised of songwriting duo Adam P. Newton and Marc Brubaker, the group’s music combines elements of contemporary folk and indie rock, though it’s all adorned with sexy, timeless pop hooks.
