Mikie and Marie started writing together in 2005 and by the end of 2006 had an album written, at which point they decided to focus on becoming an actual band. They roped in Mike Flood on drums, Christian Daugherty (Mikie's (not so) little brother) on bass and Andy Gifted on guitar so they could bring their songs to the masses. The album was released on 15th February 2007 at the Cornerhouse as part of Mikie's birthday celebrations. Mike Flood left the band later that year, to be replaced by Martin "Rocklord" Rigby.
