Otherwhile were founded in 2014 by former Ra Ra Riot cellist and vocalist Alexandra Lawn. Based in California, the other members are Stefan Macarewich, Kyle Butler,Katie Schulte and Spencer Askin. They released their debut album, Born to be a Strange, in 2015.
