Nuke Watch began as a quartet, jamming on and around the themes of acid, nuclear annihilation, the city and the sounds of the 21st century. Now a Duo, Chris Hontos and Aaron Anderson (also known as Beat Detectives) push forward their omnivorous, dub-diffused, modal electronic jazz skronk inspired by fusion greats and GD bootlegs. Ribboning sax and flute lines are threaded through lysergic electronic fractals and rhythmelodic tumult. Their improvisational results are fiercely contemporary and singularly their own.
