Kabelo Mokoena, popularly known as “Mordecai” is a notable artist/Dj within the Amapiano genre, born and raised in Katlehong, the east of Johannesburg, South Africa. Being born in a music infused household pushed him to make his own. His music often features laid-back rhythms and melodic elements that are typical of Amapiano, contributing to the genre's growing popularity both in South Africa and internationally, working with the likes of JayJayy, Thatohatsi, Royal Musiq, Shakes & Les, W4DE, CowBoii, etc.
