moledebater was started in the last week of 2011 when maddy and dan met for the first time since high school after being assured by mutual friends that they would get along and should play music together. they wrote something like 76 songs over the course of their nearly 6 years as a band, self-releasing all of it. sometimes multiple releases per year. they were known for their feedback-laden sets of varying lengths and qualities, playing at least once a month in the regional scene that had formed between brandon-winnipeg-kenora at the time.
