Mieke (Free Souffriau) staat centraal in het programma. Ze werkt op het politiekantoor in haar dorp, samen met Toby (Louis Talpe) en commisaris Migrain. Mieke is een verlegen meisje, en durft niet haar mening te verkondigen. Vooral commisaris Migrain (Sjarel Branckaerts) misbruikt dit en laat haar allerhande karweitjes doen. Mieke is stiekem ook verliefd op Toby, maar durft dat natuurlijk niet te zeggen.
