The best English folk singer currently on the scene. Not pretty ,not radio 2 friendly, that is why he is so good. He sings of England's past, and strange though it my sound his songs are relivent today. Nothing in his music about golden summers or the make belive past or indeed present. No this is real. Blood ,pain, joy and hope,It's just set in the past. If you want a packaged 'folk' singer listen to Harding or read froots, they love that plastic crap.
