Lower Loveday is an indie rock band from Manchester, formed in 2018 by Mark Ryder (vocals) and Tom Parker (drums). The two musicians originally met at a school talent competition, where they gained their first band experience together. After years apart due to university and travel, a spontaneous reunion in Sydney, Australia, led to a musical restart and the formation of Lower Loveday. The band's name comes from Lower Loveday Street in Birmingham, where Tom Parker wrote his first songs while studying.
