Lost on Purpose is the principal music project of Will WV, an American musician, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised in Ohio, Will lived in Los Angeles for 11 years before moving to Tokyo. He began Lost on Purpose with a collection of demos entitled “1st” in 2003, and has gone on to release sixteen+ other albums and EPs that have been compared, variously, to the likes of Elliott Smith, Arcade Fire, The National, Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver and Vampire Weekend.
