Lars Kroon (born 1986 in IJlst, The Netherlands) is a Dutch songwriter, musician and singer, a self-proclaimed 'dedicated outsider' who was released his own songs under several different monikers, including Lars and the Magic Mountain (2020-2021), Toverberg (2022-2024) and, as per 2025, his real name, Lars Kroon. Having written and sung mostly in English for many years, Kroon now prefers Dutch, his mother tongue. His music is a peculiar blend of low-key, poetic folk, Dutch Americana and country.
