Koppen joined the Metronomicon-collective in 2003, when he released his first CD-R entitled «Truck drivin' songs», a title which was in fact stolen from a cassette bought at a flee market. The songs were mainly made on a computer using a sequencer and an extensive collection of silly samples, but also with the use of acoustic instruments like banjo and melodica.
