Sama ideja o nastanku grupe keops nastala je vrlo rano jos davne 1995. godine, kada je grupa prijatelja iz ulice odlučila zasvirati te se zabavljati. U prvoj postavi još neafirmirane grupe pjavala je Dubravka Alebić koja je obilježila prve dvije godine grupe svojim glasom i pojavom.
