Kasper Spez kommer oprindeligt fra Langeland, men flyttede i 2003 til København. I undergrunden har han solo og via sit crew, Kontra Crew, formået at arbejde sig op til et af de mest hypede navne på den danske undergrundsscene. Han havde, i en alder af bare 22 år, allerede været med på en del danske albums - bl.a. compilationen Viva La Gadehiphop, DJ Typhoon's Gadeplan, Æter Mixtape m.m.
