La potencia del death metal, la agresividad del hardcore y la oscuridad del black metal son la fórmula de esta banda quiteña formada en 2006. Desde entonces, Kanhiwara se ha ganado un gran tajo de la escena metalera ecuatoriana. En 2010, lanzaron su EP “Camino de Agonía” que les permitió telonear a Cannibal Corpse y The Black Dalia Murder.
