Growing up in tiny Rockglen, Saskatchewan didn't open much of a window on the music scene, but there was always oldies on a.m. radio and Neil Young on the cassette tape in her dad's pick-up truck. Eventually, there was dial-up Internet. A few years later she found herself in a van with a Saskatoon band, driving half way across Canada.
