The unhurried tones of Interbellum are created by Brendan Burke, a recording engineer and musician who lives in Chicago. He has drummed for God's Acre, The Waste Kings and Freakwater and has recorded artists as varied as Ken Vandermark and Roy Montgomery. Interbellum is an expression of Burke’s interest in open-ended musical forms, acoustic manipulation and applied mathematics.
