Founded in 2021 by Lars Broddesson (ex-Marduk, Funeral Mist session, Nordjevel, and many more) HILD is an unwavering outlet of raw energy and stirring, unbinding force, deeply steeped in Nordic Myth and Mystery. Under the banner of ValFreiya, the band brings a bastard blend of Thrash Metal, Black Metal, some Death Metal, and a good dose of Hardcore and Crust. The theme is battle, strife and struggle, strength and self-empowering, and facing your fate with a fearless heart.
