Hessel is a singing bar owner from the Island of Terschelling in the North of the Netherlands. His musical inspiration was born out of boredom when he started playing songs in his empty bar on a borrowed guitar, but his fame grew into a tourist attraction that is known to everyone who ever visited the island.
