De dj/producer genaamd Generate is geboren in Den Haag. Hij is al op jonge leeftijd een interesse voor muziek productie software waarbij hij zich liet inspireren door onder andere drum and bass. Later, in het eerste jaar van het Johan de Wit College in Scheveningen, kreeg hij een workshop met het programma Reason. Hierdoor kwam hij ook in contact met het Haags Pop Centrum waar hij op de eerste compilatie cd van het haagse label Antilounge kwam te staan.
