Futile bestehen in ihrer aktuellen Besetzung seit Frühjahr 2006. Seitdem arbeiten die vier Jungs aus der Südpfalz mehrmals in der Woche an ihrem Songmaterial. Dabei verschmelzen sie progressiven Rock mit Metal-Elementen und schaffen eine aufreibende Atmosphäre, die von einem charismatischen, vorwiegend cleanen Gesang getragen wird.
