Originally hailing from Florida, Miranda McLaughlin and Nick Morelly met in 2016. Their first collaboration occurred that year when Nick made cassette tapes for Miranda’s solo album. In the midst of working on individual projects, they started sharing tracks in 2018 hoping to form a band. That year, they moved to Nashville and became Full Mood. Inspired by a mix of influences from the Strokes to Kate Bush, the duo are drawn to winding atypical song structures and synth laden instrumentation.
