Frank Hoier is a songwriting performer (Guitar, Harmonica) who lives in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Heavily influenced by American music (Folk, Blues, Rock & Roll and early Country), his original songs involve equal parts hope, desperation, humor, sarcasm, anger, & love. His first year in NYC saw an Urban Folk magazine cover, and the front page of the arts section in Newsday. He currently plays in the Rock n' Roll/Blues/Surf duo Boom Chick.
