Evangelia Psarakis (born May 24, 1992 in New Jersey, known mononymously as Evangelia) is a Greek singer. She grew up commuting between her grandmother’s small farm on the Greek island of Crete and her parents’ home in New Jersey on the American East Coast - two completely different musical worlds, both of which influenced her style. An Evangelia song blends modern pop music with sounds from her Greek roots, contemporary club beats and catchy melodies.
