Elyse Weinberg is a gifted singer-songwriter whose debut album, “Elyse,” has become an underground legend thanks to such contemporary fans as Amy Annelle and Elf Power. The original album was recorded in 1968 when Canadian-born Elyse, part of the Toronto folk-rock scene, made her way to Los Angeles. Meeting up with fellow Canadian troubadour Neil Young, she was quickly embraced by the California folk-rock community, which led to a recording contract with the now-defunct Tetragrammaton label.
