Double Ewes is an electronic indie folk band founded in 2010 by singer-songwriter Whilden Hughes VI in Janesville, Wisconsin. The band also includes members Jeremy Nealis and Max Jewer. Hughes started recording ideas on cassettes while living in a house near to his family farm on the outskirts of Janesville. With the addition of Nealis and Jewer the trio were able to use pieces of the early tape recordings to compose songs for the debut self-titled release 'Double Ewes'.
