Djevel is a black metal band from Oslo, Norway, formed in 2009 by Trånn Ciekals (Nettlecarrier, ex-Ljå, ex-Neetzach). Intended to be a solo project, it became a full band after Erlend Hjelvik (Kvelertak) and Mannevond (Urgehal/Koldbrann) joined in 2011.[2][3][4] Various lineup changes would see Ciekals as the only consistent member until his death from unknown causes in 2025.
