Densmore thinks of his productions as unfinished inventories of fragments: recorded objects, samples, synthesizers and other inventions. They are improvisational sites in which the constructed and the ready-made are used to question our listening of the world through music and abstraction. Densmore’s arrangements are schematic, inviting the listener to move into a space of speculation. His topics include adding as much abstraction as the structure can take.
