The guitarist, vocalist and chief songwriter of Southern California-based band, the Big Wha-Koo, in the late-1970s, Danny Douma released an impressive solo album, Night Eyes, in 1979. Although it featured the all-star accompaniment of Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac's Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie on one tune, and Garth Hudson of the Band and Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac on another, the album failed to generate much commercial interest.
