Dadon's 1997 Concert History

Dadon was born in a monastery in Lhasa, Tibet, in 1967. As a child in the early 1980s, she was trained in classical music in a music school in Beijing, China. Upon graduating in 1985, Dadon returned to Tibet and joined the Tibetan Singing and Dance Group, where she shared her many talents and began to sing professionally. In the late 1980s, Dadon was the first Tibetan to enter and win numerous singing competitions in China. She recorded and sold millions of albums in Tibet and China during the late 1980's and early 1990's.
