Grandson of an African American Baptist preacher born in Jim Crow Mississippi, Dj Raedawn(aka Crunc Tesla) got the Callin to grace stages at the age of 4 playing the violin {though he prefered Nintendo} . He later moved on to the trombone around age 10 unknowingly following in the footsteps of his great-uncle Mel Wanzo (R.I.P) of the Count Basie Orchestra. He later left his highschool jazz ensemble to fully pursue his lust for djing and electronic composition.
