Music has always been inherent throughout Maxime Firket's life under several atypical forms : Before producing high quality electronic music (Compuphonic), and being a DJ (Soultronik), he learned the rudiments of classical music since his early childhood. Educated as a violoncellist, and played in several pop-rock bands. He grew up listening to the sounds of Kraftwerk, Front 242, Depeche mode, and eventually got fascinated by the essence of Detroit’s music (Kevin Saunderson, Carl Craig …) which made him start Dj'ing.
