Born in Calgary, Alberta in 1989, Chedda Cheese was an unlikely candidate for a rapper, but delved into the culture and found himself an adept lyricist during the later years of his teens. With production from Seven Mics, Cadilakid, and other various lesser known sources, Cheese set out to expose the world to his tongue in cheek, fun, and goofy yet intelligent brand of rap, influenced by the indie rap movement's creativity and experimentation. Cheese's music recalls the bounce and energy of early hip hop, but advances on it significantly.
